Gathered Lemons

Gathered Lemons is part of my Gathered series of small still-life paintings celebrating the flowers and garden gatherings that brighten life after a long, cold Tasmanian winter.

This time, lemons take the place of blooms—a cheerful change within the series. Inspired by my garden, the painting celebrates the simple pleasure of bringing something homegrown indoors and seeing it afresh. A little sunshine, gathered for the table.
