Gathered Pink Cosmos

Part of my Gathered series, this painting celebrates the joyful arrival of spring and the simple pleasure of gathering flowers from my garden.

Delicate pink cosmos, with their generous open petals and golden centres, are arranged in a clear glass vase. Their soft pinks, rose and crimson tones contrast beautifully with the deep blues and fresh whites of the background, creating a bold and contemporary composition.

Expressive brushstrokes, layered colour and lively textures capture the movement and character of the flowers, while strong shadows and reflections bring energy to the tabletop.

Gathered Pink Cosmos is a celebration of nature's fleeting beauty — a moment of spring preserved through colour, light and paint.
