Gathered Sweet Peas

Gathered Sweet Peas celebrates the colour and wayward charm of sweet peas picked from my spring garden. Pink, crimson and lilac blooms spill from a square glass vase, their ruffled petals and curling tendrils reaching in different directions.

Expressive brushstrokes and bold contrasts of deep blue, turquoise and white bring energy to the arrangement, while glimpses of stems through the glass add another layer of colour and movement.

Part of my Gathered series, this contemporary still life captures the simple pleasure of bringing the garden indoors.
