Gathered Yellow Tulips

Gathered Tulips is part of a series of eight small still-life paintings celebrating the flowers that begin to appear after a long, cold Tasmanian winter.

Gathered from my own garden, these tulips capture that wonderful moment when colour begins to return to the landscape. Their brilliant yellows and warm oranges sit against rich blues, celebrating the contrast and energy of early spring.
